Train To Gain

Helping Businesses to Succeed

Train to Gain is a government initiative to help businesses to provide the necessary training which their employees need to help the business to succeed. The training is designed to be flexible and is carried out at a time and place which suits the business.

Improving Skills

Train to Gain aims to help individuals to:

  1. achieve their first full level 2 qualification
  2. improve their literacy and numeracy skills through Skills for Life awards

Free Training

Many British companies could be more productive and competitive if they had a better skilled workforce. Train to Gain aims to improve the skills of the workforce by providing free training to those who do not already have a full level 2 qualification (other eligibility criteria apply).
