Mission Statement

Lancashire College is the management and administrative hub for the South and East Area of Lancashire County Council’s Lancashire Adult Learning. The area is responsible for the management and delivery of all adult and community education provided by Lancashire County Council in the districts of Chorley, South Ribble, West Lancashire, Pendle, Burnley, Hyndburn, Rossendale and Ribble Valley.

The Mission Statement of Lancashire Adult Learning is:

"To enable all adults in Lancashire to return to and achieve success in learning, so as to improve their own quality of life through personal enrichment and enhanced employability skills, as well as the quality of life of their communities."

Lancashire Adult Learning South and East Area contributes to the achievement of this mission by:

Providing opportunities for all adults to engage in high quality learning.
