NVQs

Benefits for Employer

Job Role Specific

NVQs are flexible. You know which skills your staff need. The training is geared to meet those needs.

Quality Assurance

Employers will benefit from a more highly skilled and motivated workforce, gaining an award delivered and assessed by professional teachers.

Free Training Eligibility

Through the Train to Gain initiative, the training and the award are free to employees who do not currently hold a full level 2 qualification such as NVQ level 2 or 5 GCSEs at A* to C (5 'O' levels).

Wage Compensation

Wage compensation may be available for companies with less than 50 employees.

Benefits for Employee

Recognised Qualification

You will gain a qualification which will tell employers you have taken a course of study to improve your job skills. This could open doors to employment or study in the future.

Job Satisfaction

You will feel confident in your job role knowing that you have built up your skills to a higher level. This will make your job more enjoyable.

Personal Benefits

Passing this NVQ will give you a well deserved sense of achievement and the chance to move on to new heights.

For more information on NVQs, please call Frieda Alldrick on 01257 276719.

NVQs are also available through the Lancashire College learndirect centres.
