How to Enrol

Early booking is advised to ensure a place. Courses are reviewed before their start date. Should enrolments be low, the college reserves the right to postpone or cancel such courses.

By telephone: Contact Lancashire Adult Learning on 0845 6001331 or 01257 276719 with the course name and code and your payment details. (Please note full payment is required when using this method). You will receive from us a receipt and a course information leaflet.

In person: Course Administration is open from Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 5.00 pm.

By post: Send details of the course you wish to attend along with your contact details and a cheque made payable to Lancashire County Council for the full fee to Course Administration.

Payment: Payment may be made by VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, cheque or cash. If you’re eligible for fee remission, there is a £5 minimum charge. You will be asked to provide us with evidence of benefits prior to, or at the time of enrolment. See Remission of Fees below for further details. If the course or courses you enrol on cost more than £50, an instalment plan is available. Different fee remission rates may apply to Learning Breaks and learndirect provision. Please contact Lancashire Adult Learning for further information.

Remission of Fees: Learners who are claiming certain income-related benefits or who are dependent on someone who is claiming may be eligible for fee remission. Refer to the Service website for further details (www.lal.lancashire.gov.uk).

Cancellations: Course fees will be refunded less £20 administration fee if you cancel your place at least 10 working days before the start of the course. If the course fee was less than £20, the full fee is retained, but no further administration fee is charged. Lancashire Adult Learning reserves the right to postpone or cancel any course due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient numbers. In this event the full course fee will be refunded. For conditions relating to residential learning breaks and other provision please contact Course Administration .

Smoking Policy: The college is a no-smoking environment.
