NaRS (National Rescue Standard) First Aid at Work |

3 day course (9.00am – 4.30am) This course is the Gold Standard of First Aid qualifications and meets HSE requirements. Includes: Adult CPR, injuries (bones, muscles), bleeding, burns ,eyes, poisoning, choking, shock. Also covers diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, heart attack, stroke and angina.

NaRS Paediatric Foundation (PFAF) |
|
6 hours For those needing to have an awareness of dealing with/planning for an emergency, first aid, resuscitation, caring for children who suddenly become unwell until arrival of their parents, appropriate contents of a first aid kit and keeping record of incidents/accidents. Covers CPR on adults, children and babies. Includes choking, burns and poisons, recognising meningitis, anaphylactic shock and other conditions such as convulsions, stings, bites.

NaRS Paediatric First Aid (PFAQ) |

12 hours As PFAF but also covers recognising and responding to children with chronic medical conditions eg asthma, epilepsy, diabetes.
