Adult Learners Week

National Adult Learners Week
17th to 23rd May 2008

Adult Learners’ Week, organised by the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE) is the UK’s largest festival of learning. There are events taking place throughout the week at venues across the UK.

Lancashire College is organising a range of FREE two hour taster courses for people who are new to learning or returning to learning after a break*. Courses will be taking place at venues across Chorley, South Ribble and West Lancashire and include a range of subjects for beginners including Languages, Computers, Arts & Crafts and Healthy Living.

Lancashire College is also hosting an open day on National Learning at Work Day, which includes a free NVQ Taster class. For more information see our Learning at Work Day page.
