Lancashire College

Lancashire College is the management and administrative hub for the South Zone of Lancashire County Council’s Lancashire Adult Learning. The college is responsible for the management and delivery of all adult and community education provided by Lancashire County Council in the four boroughs of Chorley, South Ribble, West Lancashire and Preston.

Lancashire College provides:

  • An adult education programme located in the college and in other venues in the four boroughs in which the college operates

  • Community outreach provision which aims to widen participation in education (in partnership with other Authority services such as Libraries and the Youth and Community Service, and with community and voluntary organisations)

  • A programme of short residential adult education courses

  • Learndirect courses through the Learning Centres

  • Workforce Development

  • Business Language Training
     
  • Conference facilities and Bed & Breakfast
